workshop with clay...

last weekend I took part in a ceramics workshop.
I have never actually worked with clay before,
besides from some unsuccessful egg cup 100 years
ago...
as I like to play with dolls, I decided to do some
small dolls or animals to start with...
it was such a joy...I made lots of them, lots of
strange figures...don´t really know what they want
yet, but I don´t think I can stop "claying" for a long
time. we had the best teacher, Åsa Jacobson,
you find her here...a very talented artist...
the catering included was excellent and so was
the weather and the place where the workshop
was held...

unfortunately

 they had not enough wallpaper to fix the entire room...they
 had to cut pieces out of the last piece to get something on
 the last wall...

renovation goes on again...

in fact her intention was to paint the walls
in some way, but thanks to this lady, she
found this lovely wallpaper by japanese
artist Mogu Takahashi and after that she had
no doubt about what to do...

this was the first time she did this kind of job,
rather difficult she thought, especially in the
corner, but she´s still very content and she
loves the wallpaper and so does her cat and
also her friend the mouse when he came for
a call...

he even liked it so much he decided to stay
over night...and maybe he will stay forever and
help with the continuation...
